With everything that's happened over the last year, the Chicago Bears don't exactly draw much interest from non-Bears fans.

However thanks to some recent controversy, their Week 14 matchup is now listed as one of the most interesting for the 2020 NFL season.

The Athletic listed their  "13 Most Interest Games On The NFL Schedule" and there's some obvious ones like the Kansas City Chiefs vs the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, the Week 1 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints and a playoff rematch between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.

Shuffled in there is the Week 14 matchup between the Bears and Houston Texans.

Of course some controversy sparked recently when Texans' QB Deshaun Watson made some claims that the Bears snubbed him during the NFL Draft process.

Here's what The Athletic had to say about the matchup:

"I know what you’re thinking: Why the &^%* is this game on the list? Allow me to explain. This has the potential to be the saddest game of the season for the two fan bases involved. Bears fans will be bombarded by stories during the week about how Chicago traded up for Mitch Trubisky and passed on Deshaun Watson. Texans fans, meanwhile, despise their coach as much as any fan base in the NFL. Consider the possibilities. Maybe Nick Foles gets injured, Trubisky comes in, and he rallies the Bears to victory. During the postgame handshake, Matt Nagy convinces Bill O’Brien to trade Watson for Trubisky straight-up. O’Brien thinks about it for a moment and then offers to throw in a 2024 first-round pick. See? Now you know why this game deserves to be on the list."

Are you excited for the matchup between the Texans and Bears?
