Chicago's need for a proper kicker and Robbie Gould's refusal to sign a new contract in San Francisco.
Gould's relationship with the 49ers came to a dramatic pause during the summer as San Francisco Franchise Tagged the kicker but Gould refused to sign the paperwork and asked for a trade.
Well according to Adam Schefter, Gould has bit the bullet.
Schefter reports the 49ers and Gould have actually signed a long term deal before today's Franchise Tag deadline.
