The Chicago Bears are preparing to try and beat the lifeless Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and keep their playoff hopes alive.

They'll have to do so without a bunch of players as six players have officially been ruled out for Thursday's game.

On the offensive side of things both tight end Ben Braunecker and wide receiver Taylor Gabriel have been ruled out with concussions while offensive lineman Bobby Massie is out with his ankle issue and tight end Adam Shaheen is out with his foot issue.

On the defenisve side of things Danny Trevathan is out with his elbow injury and Sherrick McManis is out with his groin injury.
