It was a question looming over the last couple of weeks and we finally got our answer.
The Chicago Bears will apply the transition tag to CB Kyler Fuller according to Ian Rapoport's sources.
The Bears are sitting on a pretty nice cap situation so they can match any offer that might come in.
Just a little while ago Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported that Fuller wouldn't be returning to Chicago.
Others had question whether he would be slapped with the franchise tag, however the Bears have used the transition tag instead.
The move keeps the Bears with some great talent at an important position for hopefully at least one more year.
More to come.
A surprise: The #Bears are going to apply the transition tag to CB Kyle Fuller, sources say. With their cap situation, they can match any offer that would come in. This keeps a top talent at a key position on the team.
