The Chicago Bears continue lining up candidates for their vacant GM position and now they're reaching out to one of the most respected franchises in the league.

NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that the Bears have reached out to the New England Patriots.

Schefter reveals that the Bears have requested permission from the Patriots to speak with Eliot Wolf.

Wolf currently holds the title of Senior Consultant with the Patriots but is looked at as their director of scouting.

The 39 year old has been with the Patriots since 2020 and had previously spent 14 years with the Green Bay Packers and a brief stint with the Cleveland Browns.
