We haven't even gotten to Week 1 and the obstacles pile up for the Chicago Bears.
This time it's on the defensive side of the ball.
The Bears were happy to find out that Eddie Goldman would be back this season but now they're not sure when.
Bears' insider Adam Jahns reports that there's plenty of speculation going around that nose tackle Eddie Goldman is dealing with an injury and his status for Week 1 is in question.
It would line up with the Bears' roster moves on Wednesday morning because they released DT Auzoyah Alufohai and RB Artavis Pierce and signed DT Margus Hunt and NT Damion Square.
We should have an answer later today as the Bears' first official injury report will be revealed.
More details to come.
There is word circulating that Bears nose tackle Eddie Goldman is dealing with an injury. Not sure what that means for his status yet vs. the Rams or beyond. But the Bears recently worked out three defensive linemen. The first injury report for the week comes out later today.
