The biggest storyline going back to last year has been wide receiver Allen Robinson's contract situation.
Robinson and some of his teammates have been vocal about the WR getting paid however the Bears' never really seemed too interested.
When all was said and done the Bears franchise tagged Robinson and the WR won't be holding out and play on the tag hoping to get paid next year when he hits free agency.
So what exactly is Robinson looking for?
More than his franchise tag.
According to Chris Emma of 670 The Score, Robinson was seeking a deal that would have paid him $20million a year, similar to the deals that were handed out to Amari Cooper and Keenan Allen last year.
The Bears just weren't interested in going that high.
Emma adds that the last serious negotiation between the two sides happened in September of 2020.
Would you have given up $20million a season for Robinson?
