Just a couple of minutes before kickoff between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions and questions continue to swirl around Bears' head coach Matt Nagy.

Various reports indicated that Nagy will be fired after the game.

Nagy himself has denied the reports and last night a report surfaced that George McCaskey addressed the team and told them Nagy wouldn't be fired following today's game.

This morning NFL insider Adam Schefter gave Bears' fans an update on the latest information he's received.

"Where it stands with Matt Nagy before today's game vs. Detroit: George McCaskey and Ted Phillips both told him this week's report was a "complete lie", per sources. Nagy has not been told by anyone he's being fired. McCaskey spoke to team Weds, and told players what he told Nagy."

So from all accounts at the moment it doesn't seem like Nagy will be fired tonight.

All we can do now is wait and see.
