He was a dominant force on the offensive line during his time with the team, earning Pro Bowl honors six times and being named First-Team All-Pro twice. He was also a key contributor to the Bears' NFL Championship team in 1963. Jones was known for his strength and durability, starting in every game during his tenure with the team, which is quite an impressive feat for an offensive lineman. He was also known for his versatility, as he played both guard and tackle positions during his career with the bears. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1991 for his contributions to the team and his overall impact on the game.
