REPORT: Packers Reveal Which Teams They Might Trade Aaron Rodgers To

According to ESPN, the Green Bay Packers are expected to consider a trade of QB Aaron Rodgers.

"That doesn't mean it will happen," Schefter said of the trade. "But if he wants that, and they're on the same page, then it's certainly realistic. ... And if they do go ahead and trade him, it would be to the AFC."

We must remember that Rodgers still has a lot of power in his future. He pretty much controls it all.

Indeed, he has a fully-guaranteed compensation package of $58.3 million in 2023. If the Packers want to avoid that obligation, they need to trade him where he wants to go. If that's in the NFC, so be it.


He can tell the Packers, «I'm not leaving.» He can force the Packers to pay him all that money, even if they'd instead focus on the future and start backup QB Jordan Love.
