LISTEN: COWBOYS TALK RADIO HOSTS CAUGHT WISHING INJURIES UPON 49ERS RB CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY DURING DISGUSTING RANT
BY V. CARBONNEAU
Yet that's precisely what Bryan Broaddus, a reporter for the Dallas Cowboys and who hosts a radio show in Dallas, has apologized for comments he made earlier in the week regarding the health of San Francisco 49ers running back, Christian McCaffrey.
The 49ers will host the Cowboys in an NFC Divisional Round matchup on Sunday in a rematch of an exciting playoff game from last season and a renewal of one of the NFL's most storied rivalries. Broaddus and co-host Gavin Dawson were analyzing the game on GBag Nation, a show on 105.3 in Dallas. McCaffrey's name was mentioned, and the conversation quickly turned toward his injury-prone past.
Since joining the 49ers this season, McCaffrey is averaging over 100 yards per game. It's hard to imagine it won't continue on Sunday after he gets wind of these comments.
Part of McCaffrey's success is that he has indeed stayed healthy with SF after two consecutive seasons with the Panthers, where he couldn't stay on the field.
If McCaffrey comes across this audio, it may motivate him to run all over the Cowboys in what is expected to be a wild game.
