Justin Fields great bonding experience with the new coaching staff
Scott Polacek of Bleacher Report had the chance to sit down with our QB Justin Fields to ask him a few questions. When he asked how he liked his new coaching staff, here is what Fields responded.
"It's been awesome," he said. "They're great coaches, of course, but also great people. We spent a little bit of time together; we actually went golfing together. Just kind of getting to know those guys away from the facility and getting to know them more on a personal level was awesome."
The new coaching staff also gives the 23-yeard-old an opportunity to become a bigger leader himself as well.
"Be a coach on the field," he said when asked about his biggest individual goal of the offseason. "Of course, we have a new offense this year, and the only person who really knows the whole offense is the offensive coordinator. Even the coaches are learning the offense. Just being a coach on the field and being able to control everything and have everything going smoothly out there."
I really like that Fields went golfing with his new coaches. We all know that golf is one of the best ways to get to know someone. I think it's very important to have a good relationship with your coaches if you are the franchise quarterback and it looks like Fields is doing just that.
Justin Fields has always been the best athlete pretty much anywhere he goes. Well, it looks like he can play some golf too. Check out his swing. Pretty good stuff!
