Jay Cutler very surprising comments on QB Justin Fields
I know that the quarterback history in Chicago is nothing to write home about. However, we may have a glitter of hope with young stud QB Justin Fields.
Here is what long-time Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had to say when he was asked about Fields by the Chicago Sun-Times.«If the Bears start winning I hope they do. And I hope Justin is successful and I hope he's the next big thing here and he's the best quarterback to come out of Chicago Bears history.»
Cutler also had very high praises for Fields, but he shared his concerns.
«I like him he's got all the tools, but it's the same problem the Bears have had for a long time: They're turning over coaches and turning over OCs,» Cutler said. «It's hard for a quarterback. You look across the league and the guys that are really good at quarterback have the same coaches and same systems each year.»

I think this is very fascinating from Cutler. It's rare you see a player (or a former) be honest in his answers. It will be interesting to see if he is able to overcome those challenges.
