EX-NFL GM HAS THE MOST RIDICULOUS TRADE PROPOSAL FOR THE BEARS AFTER THEY GOT THE FIRST PICK
BY V. CARBONNEAU
Well, according to former NFL GM Mike Tannenbaum, Poles should use that leverage... to trade away our best player in QB Justin Fields. Yes, you read that correctly.
Tannenbaum believes the Bears should trade away Fields, acquire at least one first-round and one-third-round pick in this year's draft, and select Alabama QB Bryce Young with the No. 1 pick. This would allow the Bears to reset with a quarterback on a rookie contract while filling other holes on the roster.
«I would trade Justin Fields,» Tannenbaum explained on ‘Get Up.'
Young is the most gifted quarterback in the class, but anyone who knows the Bears' situation knows what an unpopular take this is. Chicago is in a rebuilding state and needs defensive help and weapons to surround their young, upcoming star quarterback in Fields. Fill in another star quarterback and fail to give him any weapons, and you set yourself back another few years.
