ANOTHER NFL LEGEND HAS DIED...

JUN 22, 2022  (16H22)      V. CARBONNEAU
We recently learned the sad news this morning that Ravens Linebacker Jaylon Ferguson passed away at age 26.

Well, now, we learned from TMZ that legendary defensive tackle Tony Siragusa passed away at age 55.

A cause of death for the former defensive lineman has not yet been revealed.

Siragusa -- a 6-foot-3, 340-pound defensive tackle -- initially broke into the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 1990 and became a full-time starter by the 1992 season.

In 1997, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens ... and went on to be a key cog on the legendary 2000 team that won Super Bowl XXXV.

A defensive tackle, Siragusa played 12 seasons in the NFL. Undrafted out of Pittsburgh, the native of Kenilworth, NJ appeared in 169 career games, recording 564 tackles, 22.0 sacks and five forced fumbles.

This is one of the saddest days in Ravens history. The deaths of Jaylen Ferguson and Tony Siragusa on the same day leaves every Ravens fan stunned. A player so young with potential, and a legend who brought so joy and impact to the field. Gone. Tough to wrap your head around. -Gerry Sandusky

In retirement, Siragusa worked as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports and played Frankie Cortese, a bodyguard and driver for Tony Soprano, on The Sopranos.

May he rest in peace.
